Free Vitamin Basic Training Lecture Offered Sept. 5 At Nutrition World

Nutrition World is offering a free educational lecture on Sept. 5, by naturopathic doctor Tracy Kreider on "Vitamin Basic Training."

Dr. Kreider will talk about how vitamins work, what people can do to strengthen the immune system, how much fiber is enough and what vitamin supplements can do. She will also answer audience questions.

The lecture will be on Sept. 5, from 6-7 p.m. in the store's lower level yoga studio, located on Vance Road around the corner from the main Lee Highway entrance. The lecture is free, but please call to reserve a seat. Nutrition World is at 6201 Lee Highway.

Tracy Kreider (CNC, ND) is Senior National Product Educator for Country Life Vitamins, which has been in business for 40 years. She has worked in the alternative health industry for many years, including managing two different health food stores in Tampa, Fla. She is a Certified Nutrition Consultant and a Naturopathic Doctor. She travels around the United States giving educational seminars to retail employees for professional development and for consumers to learn about how to use alternative health methods. She is a frequent guest on national radio programs

Nutrition World offers a three-pronged approach to health, based on nutritional supplements, healthy food and movement. Founded in 1979 as one of Chattanooga's oldest providers of nutritional supplements, the retail store now also offers healthy foods, including fresh meat and produce. Nutrition World's wellness center offers classes and one-on-one sessions in Pilates, yoga, fitness training, Tai Ji, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, Quigong, Zumba and belly dancing.
