Andrew Floyd Joins Red Bank Baptist As Student Minister

The Rev. Andrew Floyd has been called as student minister at Red Bank Baptist Church, 4000 Dayton Blvd., effective this Sunday. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

An ice cream social for students and families to meet Rev. Floyd will be this Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. He will also speak during the morning worship service. The Rev. Sam Greer will speak at the 10:45 a.m service on "Giving Under the Influence," with text from II Corinthians 8:1-5.

  Sunday school is at 9:30.


Burks United Methodist To Provide Food At Chester Frost Park

As a community outreach, Burks United Methodist Church, 6433 Hixson Pike, will serve hotdogs and hamburgers to campers and visitors at Chester Frost Park Shelter Sunday from 3-7 p.m. A new worship series will begin Sunday when the Rev.
