Dashler, Mildred Duke (Dalton)

Mildred Duke Dashler, 90, of Dalton, GA and formerly of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Dashler; and two sons, Samuel Howard Dashler and Joseph Duke Dashler. 

She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, James Dashler and John and Dianne Dashler all of Dalton; daughter, Shirley J. Brown of Port St. Lucie, FL; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Angie and Jack Boykin of Crandall, GA, Stephanie and Gary Archer of Dacula, GA,, Joey and Angie Dashler of Dalton, John and Amanda Dashler of East Ridge, TN., Michael and Miwa Dashler U.S.A.F. Korea, Allison and Dominic Llanos of San Antonio, TX., Jennifer Dashler of Pensacola, FL., Maureen and Keith Alexander and Courtney Brown all of Port St. Lucie; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and very special friend Ann Campbell of Tunnel Hill. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 5 from Fellowship Bible Church (Dug Gap Rd) with Pastor Jim Suddath officiating.

Valetta Jean Heuser, 93, of Rock Spring, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. Heuser was a charter member of Ft. Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans
