Marc Gravitt said his campaign for East Ridge City Council "got off to a great start" with a campagin kickoff breakfast Saturday morning.
During a brief speech, Mr. Gravitt acknowledged the diversity of the crowd in attendance that came to support him. He said, "Through the diversity of those attending, they all had one common goal - to help improve the City of East Ridge.”
Among those in attendance were State Rep. Vince Dean, Hamilton County Commissioner Tim Boyd, Retired Hamilton County Commissioner Curtis Adams and Councilmen Jim Bethune and Denny Manning.
Also attending was Juvenile Court Clerk Gary Behler, who does not live in East Ridge, but has known the Gravitt family for many years and saw the letters of endorsement and open invitation in the news.
Mr. Gravitt said, “Last but not least, thanks to my family for supporting me and understanding that I want to help the community in which we live.”
