The Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee, whose mission is to grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy, is about to grant another wish.
Michelle Stratton, 15, has always dreamed of being a famous country singer. She has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, but her medical condition has not gotten her down. Michelle still dreams of the big stage with the lights and all eyes focused in on her.
Michelle will perform her own concert at the UTC Fine Arts Center on Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. There will be free admission into the concert and general admission seating beginning at 6:30 p.m. After the concert there will be a VIP reception and an artist meet and greet.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee continues to grant the wishes of children in the area. This past fiscal year they granted a total of 78 wishes.
