Ted Allen Burson, 31, of Sequatchie, TN, passed away, Friday, August 3, 2012.
When it came to Ted, family was always first. He loved his wife, Tabitha and daughter, Zaida more than anything. He was compassionate, loyal and loving. He was a one of a kind who always made everyone around him smile, no matter what mood you were in. He never met a stranger. He loved easy living, the outdoors and camping. One of his favorite things was smoking meat in his firepit and seeing the reaction on everyone’s face as they tasted it. When you saw Ted, his dog Izzy was right there, they were inseparable. He loved going for rides in Sequatchie Cove. Music was a huge influence in his life. There will never be another one like him and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sarai Diane Burson; and parents, Carolyn Diane and Rodney A. Burson, Jr.
Ted is survived by his wife, Tabitha Wiley Burson; daughter, Zaida Amaris Burson; brothers, Rodney, Jr., Robert, and Randy Burson and Curtis Blackwell; and a sister, Amy Perry.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, August 8, with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at a 7 p.m.
