Residents with Morning Pointe of Chattanooga create cards for Operation Write Home. So far, the seniors at the assisted living community have made 25 cards for the community service project aimed at helping active duty soldiers stay in touch with their families.
The residents create cards for all occasions and then leave them blank inside for soldiers to write personal messages back home. Volunteer Ramona Madaris helps lead the project at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga and provides the cards and stamps to make the special greetings.
