"You Give Them Something" Is Topic At Hixson United Methodist

The Rev. Reed Shell will speak on Sunday, at Hixson United Methoidist Church, 5301 Old Hixson Pike, on "You Give Them Something," with text from Mark 6:30-42. 

Services are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary and at 11 a.m. in the Christian Life Center. The mid-week kick off event will be Wednesday, with dinner at 5:15 p.m. and the program at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.


St. Paul's Episcopal Plans Arts Camp

Arts Camp, open to all children from rising pre-K through rising eighth grade at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 805 West 7th St., will be June 10-14 from 8:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. The cost is $60 per child. Feds Dismiss Criminal Charges Against Rarity Developer Mike Ross

Federal authorities have dismissed an indictment against Mike Ross, the developer of a floundering Rarity Club project at Nickajack Lake in Marion County. Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans

The head of BB&T's Chattanooga commercial banking operations has been charged by federal authorities with making fraudulent loans. Tracy Brown is set to plead guilty to bank fraud on June 4.
