Arts In The Park Festival Student Art Contest Winners Announced

The student art exhibit and contest from the rained out Arts In The Park Festival of Labor Day was held at the Sunday Chattanooga Market on Sunday. 

The area's public, private and even home school students showed up to showcase their works and many took home award ribbons and money for their school's art programs. The contest was open to sixth-12th grade art students and was judged by three trained and recognized artists of Chattanooga Market .  

"The level of artistic talent in our student community is tremendous.

 It's wonderful to see the work and dedication from both the kids and their art teachers," said Julie Jones, a Chattanooga Market artist who judged the event.  Below are the first through third place winners for each grade level.  

Sixth Grade
