A clerk at Mimi's Mini Mart in East Chattanooga testified Tuesday that three armed robbers forced him and another employee, along with two female customers, to the floor.

He said in the hold-up last Tuesday at 2304 Glass St., he was able to recognize the robbers as regular customers.

He said three suspects entered the business armed with a black handgun and stole about $900. He said one of the robbers jumped over the counter.

After they obtained the cash, the suspects fled the scene, but one was caught a short distance away by patrol officers.

During the investigation, robbery detectives and patrol officers were able to locate the other suspects who were identified as JeMichael Powell, 20, Willie Monds, 18, and a 16-year-old male. They have all been charged with aggravated robbery.

The clerk said he picked them out of a lineup.

Charges against Monds were bound to the Grand Jury on Tuesday.

General Sessions Court Judge Ron Durby set his bond at $30,000.
