NASHVILLE -- East Ridge High School product Brooke Gann scored her first goal of the season Tuesday night as Trevecca Nazarene defeated visiting Bryan College, 3-0, in a women's college soccer match.

Kayla VanEs led the Trojans (1-2-1) to their first win of the season with a goal and two assists and Becky Bartos also scored for the victors.

TNU goalkeeper Bekah Headrick had one save and recorded her second consecutive shutout of the season.

Chattanooga Connection: TNU has four players from the Chattanooga area .

.. Brooke Gann (So., East Ridge), Anna Hoffman (Fr., Chattanooga Christian), Ryan Alosi (So., Silverdale Baptist Academy), Erica Carroll (Jr., Silverdale Baptist Academy) ... Gann led the team in scoring in 2011 with eight goals ... Hoffman, Alosi and Carroll have started all four matches this season and Gann has started three.
