A new stage play Choices, Breaking the Generational Curse, opens Oct. 26 at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, 1734 East 3rd St.
This production shows a hard working single mother of three, living in the inner city who is trying to insure that her youngest daughter makes the right choices and does not continue the family trend of teen pregnancy and dropping out of school.
The play stars Lawrence Sneed, Pamella Clark, Ternae Jordan, Jr, Rosina Bell, Adareus Jackson, Darisha Rice, Alandria Eady, Lakecia Clark, Taylor White, Samuel Jones and Miles White. It is written, produced and directed by Charles E. Patterson Jr.
Performances will be Friday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. Admission is $10.
