Mayor's Office Proclaims National Assisted Living Week

The Chattanooga Mayor's office proclaimed it National Assisted Living Week at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga. Matt Lea with the mayor's office was on hand to read the official proclamation at Morning Pointe. National Assisted Living Week started on Sunday, and runs through Saturday. 

This year's theme is 'Art for the Ages'. Each day, all of the Morning Pointe communities are showcasing special events for residents, family and friends  as they celebrate the artist in everyone.

Grand Opening Held For New Meigs North Elementary Walking Track

Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night. At approximately 11 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at 101 E 20 th St. where they found the victim, Alexis Lewis, 51, lying on the walkway with a fatal stab wound to his chest.
