Signal Mountain Uses Strong Second Half In Win Over Grundy County

COALMONT, Tenn. – Signal Mountain scored 27 points in the second and pulled away from Grundy County for a 43-19 District 7-AA high school football victory here Friday night.

James McClean and Robert Turner each scored two touchdowns as Signal Mountain improved to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the league.

Grundy County quarterback Josh Rhea threw three touchdown passes.

Grundy County dropped to 2-3 and 1-1.

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
