Questions For Ann Pruett That Need An Answer

Sunday, September 16, 2012

Word has been out for a while that former Mayor Mike Steele would ask you to run for City Council of East Ridge.  It was also discussed that questionable special interest groups would be paying all your expenses and whatever else you may need; further backing by the ex-mayor, and certain members of our East Ridge government officials. Is this true?

Then, down the road in a few months, you would resign for failing health or too much time involved than what you expected, and the current mayor would appoint the person they want on council. Is this also true?

So now on the day you launched your campaign, who is the first to offer praises? None other than Mike Steele, the former mayor who is still pulling strings with the current mayor and several councilmen.  Huge signs all over East Ridge, a billboard (which cost thousands of dollars) your signs in the mayor and two councilman's yards, and even the vice mayor was seen out staking your signs all over.  Sorta makes you wonder if all that has been said must be true.  Whoever in a small town like East Ridge spends big money for billboards and hundreds of signs plastered all over East Ridge. It sure makes you wonder about strong, special backers to pay for all of this high-cost advertisement.

Your big money backers are proving they do not want to lose control. I can assure you that the citizens of East Ridge do not want any part of the current leaders and will be fighting hard to see that they will be replaced. Just to make you aware, the people that are backing you will be your downfall; you see, we don't want any part of the old, or present regime to continue.

East Ridge needs new, young, energetic and enthusiastic people to lead our city forward and in the right direction; not backward, with the 'good 'ol boy' power hungry, self absorbing ego types that are presently leading our city down a path of ruination.

The Regime's IRS Scandal Was Timed

Does anyone not realize the exact release of the IRS scandal was planned? Benghazi was lighting up, the heat was on. A Few Good Men, A Few Yes Men

Kudos to Commissioner Beck and Mackey as they voiced their opinion and opposition to the vehicle emissions contract in representing their constituents. I find it fitting that it was reported as a “new pact” and the perks received by the state and county although increased still doesn’t come close to the $6.20 that goes to the well-connected people of EnviroTest. The ... (click for more)
