HomeServe USA, a provider of emergency repair service plans, continues to show their support of their local community with the donation of a HomeServe technician van to the Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC). The van will help Habitat CFC more efficiently transport lumber and materials to build sites around the county to help construct affordable housing in the local community.
Earlier this year, 12 HomeServe employees from the Chattanooga office volunteered their time and teamed up with members of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, to support the chapter’s build for a local resident.
“To be a successful business, we believe we must also be a responsible one, and our employees selected Habitat for Humanity as a charitable organization for our company to support,” said Tom Rusin, chief executive officer of HomeServe. “Habitat aligns with our core business and we are honored to help them achieve their mission of providing people in need with simple, decent, safe and affordable housing. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them.”
