2nd Annual Chattanooga Corporate Dodgeball Tournament Slated For Dec. 8

Marking its second year in the Scenic City, Chattanooga’s Corporate Dodgeball Event is back in action and calling all corporate teams to the gym floor for a chance to win $1,000 cash prize and the coveted “wrench.” 

The benefit event will take place at University of Tennessee Chattanooga’s Maclellan Gym on Saturday, Dec. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. All proceeds will benefit local Boy Scouts of America programs & camps, serving over 6,500 youth in the greater Chattanooga area.

Teams may consist of 10 players with six on the court at any time. Team entry fee is $300. The tournament is open to any company or organization interested in some fun, light-hearted competition. Businesses, civic groups, churches, service clubs, college clubs and young professionals associations are invited to gather teams for this benefit event.

Airport Authority Approves Budget Using No Fund Reserves Despite $450,000 Wilson Air Center Loss

The Airport Authority Board has approved the fiscal year 2014 balanced budget using no funds from reserves despite a loss of $450,000 on the Wilson Air Center FBO.  Officials said the first-year loss on Wilson Air was $650,000.
