Jurick Pleads Guilty To Drug Counts

Former East Ridge High School basketball star Philip Jurick has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in Oklahoma.

Police had found marijuana, a set of scales and 18 baggies in his room.

Jurick, who was a University of Tennessee signee and wound up later at Chattanooga State, is suspended indefinitely from the Oklahoma State basketball team.
