Teachers To Receive "Stuff The Bus" Items Saturday At Teacher Supply Depot

Thursday, September 20, 2012

The Hamilton County Council of PTAs (HCC of PTAs) announced that this Saturday is the opening day of the Teacher Supply Depot for the 2012-2013 school year.  It will run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m or until school supplies are gone. The Teacher Supply Depot is located inside the old Mary Ann Garber School at 2225 Roanoke Ave.

More than 300 teachers who are members of Hamilton County public school PTAs have signed up to "shop for free" to help stock their classrooms to help their students.

This year, there are thousands of dollars worth of school supplies in the Teacher Supply Depot, thanks to the United Way of Greater Chattanooga's "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive.

The HCC of PTAs gathers donations from local businesses and the public to stock the Teacher Supply Depot. Donations are always needed and they are tax deductible.

Here is a list of top 50 items the Teacher Supply Depot needs to help Hamilton County public school educators and students. Items in bulk are always appreciated.
