Memorial's Mobile Coach Provides Mammogram Screenings At Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic

Memorial Health Care System’s Mobile Health Coach will provide mammogram screenings for women at Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic in Grundy County on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT. 

Ladies age 40 and over who have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months are eligible with or without insurance by calling Memorial’s MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at 495-4040 or toll free 866/591-2254.  Ladies will need to know their doctor’s first and last name, and those with insurance will need to bring their insurance cards and a photo ID. 

Grant funds to support the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at Memorial and the Mobile Health Coach have been gratefully provided by the Avon Breast Care Fund and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Feds Dismiss Criminal Charges Against Rarity Developer Mike Ross

Federal authorities have dismissed an indictment against Mike Ross, the developer of a floundering Rarity Club project at Nickajack Lake in Marion County.
