20-Year-Old Antonio Jackson Shot In Brainerd; 15-Year-Old Charged

A 20-year-old was shot in Brainerd at mid-afternoon on Friday, and a 15-year-old was later charged in the case.

The victim was identified as Antonio Jackson.

At 3:29 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting in the 5500 block of Old Mission Road. Jackson had been transported to Parkridge Hospital by a personally owned vehicle. He was treated for the non-life threatening injury.

Investigators found that the victim and suspect had a verbal altercation on Old Mission Road. The argument continued at the corner of Pisgah Avenue and Spring Garden Lane, where the victim was shot.

The suspect fled the area, but patrol officers located two people running from the area and detained them. The investigation is still ongoing.

Pickup Truck Goes Through Wall On Cummings Highway
