Mossburg's Three Touchdowns Pace Silverdale Win

WHITWELL, Tenn. – Spencer Mossburg ran for three touchdowns here Friday night as Silverdale Baptist Academy defeated Whitwell, 28-6, in a high school football game.

SBA, coached by Al Rogers, improved to 5-1.

Whitwell dropped to 1-5.

Josh Rogers also scored a touchdown for SBA.

CFC Men Tie, Women Fall 2-0 In Memphis

 University of Tennessee at Chattanooga junior Paul Stuart (Brentwood, Tenn.) was named Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).   Stuart just completed his junior season on the men's cross country team and led the Mocs on the course. Fire Destroys Highway 58 BBQ

A fire destroyed a barbeque restaurant on Highway 58 on Friday afternoon.   Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to the Highway 58 BBQ around 6 p.m. The business is located at 4921 Highway 58.
