A joint statement was issued Monday by Steve Bebb, district attorney for the 10th District, and by the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office in the case in which the granddaughter of State Trooper Tommie Graham suffered a fatal gunshot wound on May 30. Kadalynn Jade Louise Robinson was a three-year-old child.
A Grand Jury in Bradley County this week indicted the trooper, his wife and their two daughters in the child's death. She apparently shot herself with the trooper's handgun.
The statement says, "Every death by any weapon is investigated by law enforcement. After the investigation is finished often cases are submitted to the Grand Jury for their review. While all of us regret the suffering of those who loved Kadalynn, we respect the findings of twelve Bradley County citizens who returned an indictment.
"It is now the duty of the District Attorney to evaluate this case and in conjunction with the BCSO,
search for justice.
"We have faith in the justice system and people of Bradley County and trust the best interest of all
is properly served."
