Bethel University Hosts Fall Open House On Thursday

Bethel University in Chattanooga will host its annual Fall Open House from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. this Thursday.

The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments, a live radio remote, and campus tours. Information will be available on Bethel’s accelerated bachelor’s degrees in Business Management, as well as Bethel’s Master of Business Administration program, the largest and fastest-growing MBA program in Tennessee.

Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, culminating with a drawing for a new iPad.

Founded in 1842, Bethel University’s undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Convenient satellite campuses are located throughout the state, including one at 735 Broad St. in Chattanooga, where the Open House will be held. Deonta Banks, 23, Shot On Wilcox Boulevard Early Sunday Morning

Deonta Banks, 23, was shot early Sunday morning on Wilcox Boulevard. At approximately  3 a.m.  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to shots fired at 3232 Wilcox Boulevard.  Upon arrival, Chattanooga police located a single victim, Deonta Banks, suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound.
