Bethel University Hosts Fall Open House On Thursday

Bethel University in Chattanooga will host its annual Fall Open House from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. this Thursday.

The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments, a live radio remote, and campus tours. Information will be available on Bethel’s accelerated bachelor’s degrees in Business Management, as well as Bethel’s Master of Business Administration program, the largest and fastest-growing MBA program in Tennessee.

Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, culminating with a drawing for a new iPad.

Founded in 1842, Bethel University’s undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Convenient satellite campuses are located throughout the state, including one at 735 Broad St. in Chattanooga, where the Open House will be held. Virginia College Hosts Holiday Open House Dec. 6

Grote Hall At UTC Campus Closed Due To Sinkhole

A sinkhole has prompted UTC officials to close off access to Grote Hall. Grote Hall employees have been told they do not need to report to work on Monday. Classes that are held in Grote Hall are called off for Monday. All other classes and campus activities are on for Monday. (click for more)

Bradley County Police Investigating Shooting; Victim Dies

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Georgetown Road. The sheriff's office said Sunday night that the victim had died.
