The Hamilton County Fair has become a music destination, similar to a festival atmosphere, as entertainment has become more and more enticing with the best regional and local acts performing both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. With 24 acts ranging from country, to southern rock, to bluegrass to folk music, this year’s fair is packed with acts that have played many of the area’s music festivals, including Riverbend and Nightfall.

One of the feature acts is Tin Cup Gypsy, the great Nashville group consisting of artists that have played on the world’s largest stages and with the likes of Josh Turner, Sara Evans, Maroon 5 and Lorrie Morgan.

You’ve seen them on television, in music videos, and at festivals. See who you can recognize in their video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0WAn3YTNdJ8#! Tin Cup Gypsy played to a capacity crowd at Riverbend 5 years ago, and has since toured the USA with Orla Fallon, Sara Evans, and others.

Other headliners include The Beaters, Robby Hopkins Band, Smooth Dialect, Remembering January, and the Bluegrass Pharaohs. For the complete lineup of the 24 acts playing on the two stages at Chester Frost Park, just click http://www.hamiltontn.gov/fair/entertainment/default.aspx.

Scandals At Home And Abroad

Since my hip operation and time in recovery, I have tried to set aside things that are insignificant to me and to average Americans. Don't get me wrong here. What these people are doing (Bengahzi) is despicable be they left or right wing, and they have been doing it (both sides) for a long time. But the dirty deeds themselves carry little weight as to what they mean to you or me. ... (click for more)
