Prayer For Nation Daily At Signal Mountain Presbyterian

From now until election day, Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, 612 James Blvd., Signal Mountain, will be sponsoring special prayer on behalf of the nation. Each day a membe of the church will be offering a prayer to God on behalf of the nation. The daily prayer will be sent to church members via e-mail. It will also be available on the church website and at Prayer Place, 886-2160, Monday through Friday.  Marr Chapel will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for personal or group prayer.

The NightOWLS third birthday party, celebrating three years of ministry, will be held Sunday, Oct. 7, at noon in the Great Hall with a free lunch and cake buffet. RSVP required by contacting Amanda Hayslett by Oct. 1 at amandahayslett@comcast.net.

Red Bank Finalizes 20-Cent Property Tax Increase

The Red Bank commissioners voted Tuesday night to adopt the fiscal year 2018-2019 budget that includes a property tax increase. Mayor John Roberts said that along with the increase in both commercial and residential development, comes increased traffic.
