Friday Night Scores: Ooltewah Run Past Soddy Daisy 48-0; Baylor's Gaglianone Has Another 50-Yard FG

Friday, September 28, 2012

Ooltewah built a 34-0 halftime lead over the Soddy Daisy Trojans in a home game for the Owls on Friday night and went on to win 48-0. Desmond Pittman scored on 25-yard and 35-yard runs, then Garrett Sealor caught a TD pass from Brody Binder and Pittman and John Hill had long runs on a drive that ended with Hill taking it in. Ooltewah scored again in the final 15 seconds of the half on a Stewart Doss interception - his third defensive TD in three games.

T.J. Davis returned to the Owls lineup and took it 43 yards early in the second half to build the Ooltewah advantage, then Cameron Wallace had a long run around the right side to push the score to the final tally.

Baylor's amazing kicker junior Rafael Gaglianone had another field goal of over 50 yards, but the Red Raiders were trailing Brentwood Academy 27-10 at the half and the Eagles won 34-16.
