Dr. Clif Cleaveland Gives Summary Of Affordable Healthcare Act At Jewish Cultural Center

Tuesday, September 04, 2012

Dr. Clif Cleaveland, who was in private practice in internal medicine in Chattanooga from 1971 to 2004, will speak about the Affordable Healthcare Act on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Cultural Center, 5461 North Terrace Road, Chattanooga 37411.

There is no cost to attend; however, the Jewish Federation asks that attendees RSVP to 493-0270 ext.10 or rsvp@jewishchattanooga.com

“The Affordable Healthcare Act is complicated.  It touches on rights and protections, insurance choices and costs, Medicare, employer responsibilities, and timelines.  We felt that the community needed someone of the stature of Dr. Cleaveland to help us decode the legislation,” said Michael Dzik, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga. “We are pleased to offer this program at no cost, and we encourage as many people as possible to attend.”

The Jewish Federation's programs are open to everyone regardless of religious affiliation. The Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga builds and fosters a strong unified Jewish community and strives to ensure its well-being and continuity locally, in Israel, and throughout the world.
