The Chattanooga Market will host Harvest Festival this weekend. It is time to welcome the bountiful produce and culinary tastes of fall, and local farmers will have plenty of seasonal crops available.
Other vendors at market on Sunday will be joining in on the theme and providing their own spin of Fall offerings. Market-goers can find apples, squashes, autumn teas, apple crepes, apple cider, pumpkin spice coffee cakes and mixes, pumpkin candles…even beautiful wooden harvest bowls.
Additionally, due to a rained out Arts In The Park festival on Labor Day, the market will host the Student Art Exhibit from the festival. The works of hundreds of middle and high school art students from the Chattanooga and surrounding areas will be showcased. First through third place will be awarded for each grade level with cash prizes awarded to schools with first place winning students. The exhibit will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Lastly, the market will also be hosting the
Center For Adult Education who is celebrating Adult Education and Family Literacy week. It will be promoting and raising sponsorship funds for its TEAM Spelling Bee participants.
Live music on the EPB stage for Sunday will be
Kate Klim at 12:30 p.m. and
Doug Rees at 2 p.m.
