Lee University’s Division of Adult Learning (DAL) will be hosting an intensive on Sep. 17-18 at New Hope Church of God in Kodak, Tn.
The intensive will be a two-day course entitled, “Theology of Leadership.” It will have both video and personal instruction, along with other online coursework, and is part of a larger conference being held in conjunction with Lee’s intensive. The conference is called “Being Pentecostal.”
Dr. Fred Garmon, part-time faculty with Lee’s DAL, will lead the seminar. Also presenting at the conference will be resident of King’s University, Dr. Jack Hayford, Jr.
The DAL is conducting this intensive to offer adult students exposure to Christian leadership training. Students attending the conference can earn college credits.
“We are doing this as a part of a larger design to make quality education available to adults,” said Dr. Delton Alford, director of Faculty Services for Lee’s DAL. “Due to the nature of online educational possibilities, adults from many different geographic areas can take part in the Lee experience.”
Online registration for the intensive and the “Being Pentecostal” conference is still open to both Lee students and the general public. For more information, call Lee’s Division of Adult Learning at 423 614-8370, email mwelborn@leeuniversity.edu, or visit www.beingpentecostal.com.
