Kay Baker Gaston, author of the biography of Emma Bell Miles, "The Story of the W Road" and other historical articles about Tennessee, will give a talk entitled "Pathways and Vistas" about the work of Emma Bell Miles, a noted painter, writer and naturaist who lived in Chattanooga and Signal Mounain in the early 1900s.
The talk will be Monday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Signal Mountain Public Library, 1114 James Blvd.
The event is free and a reception wll follow the lecture. Several of Miles' paintings will be on exhibit at the library during October.
