Micky Allan Moates, 41, of Red Bank, Tennessee, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the home of his parents, Diane and Tom Duman.

Born Oct. 21, 1971, in Chattanooga, he was the son of the late Myron Allan Moates and his living mother, Diane Duman. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maymie R. Yates McClure of Red Bank and James Robert Barksdale of Boaz, Ala.

Micky formerly worked for U.S.Express and was a 1991 graduate of Red Bank High School. Micky loved his friends.

He is survived by his grandparents, Joe and Joan Moates, Etowah, Tn.; and parents, Diane and Tom Duman, of Hixson. 

A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, in the funeral home chapel.
