Glenn Shot And Killed In East Chattanooga

One person was shot and killed in East Chattanooga early Thursday morning, Chattanooga Police said.

The victim was identified as 28-year-old Edward Glenn.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. Chattanooga Police responded to the shooting at 2500 O'Rear St., in the vicinity of Glass Street, where they found the victim, who had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene.  

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are trying to determine the specific details of the incident.  They believe the victim was targeted by the suspects and that it was not a random shooting. 

Two men are believed to have forced their way into the home and carried out the killing.
