Barbara Lee Shadwill, 62, of Chickamauga, died peacefully at a local hospital on Thursday, January 10, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.  

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Shadwill; daughter, Andrea Shadwill; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Meredith Shadwill; father, Dwight Koehler; sisters, Karen Davies and Darlene Stempien; brother, Ken Koehler of Englewood, FL; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Barbara will be greatly missed by her entire family. She was the glue that bonded us together.

There will be no formal service.

Orvilla Sue Brown, 73 of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at her home. A native of West Virginia, she moved to the North Georgia area in 1973 and was of the Christian faith. Spring Creek Elementary Closed Monday And Tuesday Due To Fire In Boiler Room

Tony Williams, 26, Shot On Dodson Avenue Late Sunday Night

Tony Williams, 26, was shot late Sunday night on Dodson Avenue. Chattanooga Police responded at 11:50 p.m.,  to the 900 block of Dodson Avenue on a shooting.   Upon arrival, police located the victim who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
