Langston, Patricia Ann (Cloudland)

Patricia Ann Langston, 65, of Cloudland, GA, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.  

A native of Chattooga County, GA, she was born to the late Kirby Smith and Jimmie Sue Green Smith who survives.  Mrs. Langston was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Langston; daughters, Josie Burrage and Cindy Tishaw; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Freeman; and brother, Kenneth Smith.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Margie & Don Dabney and April & Stephen Fowler; son and daughter-in-law Scotty & Misty Langston; mother, Jimmie Sue Smith; sister, Peggy Baty; brother and sister-in-law, Tony & Gloria Smith all of Cloudland; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, at 1:30 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright officiating. Interment will follow in AMI Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Allen Langston, Chris Fowler, Jason Tishaw, Paul Derring, Tristan Smith, Willis Gallaway and Phil Green. Honorary pallbearers are the Cloudland Community. 

Visitation will be Sunday, January 13 from 6-9 p.m. at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Peggy Joyce Smith Henson, 78, of Cohutta, Georgia, died on Monday, July 28, 2014. She was born in Ringgold, to the late Emmitt and Mary Smith. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 25 years of service, and was of the Baptist faith. Rayford John McLaurin, 91, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Mr. McLaurin was a retired professor of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Harr Outlines $40 Million Plan For Chattanooga Light Rail System
