Raymond Earl Reavis, 65, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

Mr. Reavis was a member of the Professional Tour Caddies Association for many years and caddied for several well-known PGA golfers.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Clayton Reavis; paternal grandparents, Lannie and Elizabeth Reavis, and maternal grandparents, Beechum Bartlett and Nora Fuller.

Survivors include his mother, Joy Reavis, of Red Bank; sons, Preston Reavis, of Sale Creek, Nathan Reavis, of Chehlais, WA; daughter, Alicia Reavis, of Chehalis, brothers, Floyd (Vickie) Reavis, of Brichwood, TN, Lloyd Reavis, of Cleveland, TN; sister, Faye (Dave) West, of Chattanooga, Debbie (Hal) Smith, of Birchwood, many nephews and nieces.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15,  at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of may be made to the Hospice of your choice.

Woman Killed In Early-Morning Wreck On Thrasher Pike

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Thrasher Pike early Saturday morning. Soddy Daisy Police Chief Phillip Hamrick said a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge.
