Jeremy Keel, of Rossville, was arrested for aggravated robbery on Friday.
East Ridge Police responded on Friday, at approximately 10:39 p.m., to the Pizza Hut at 4340 Ringgold Road, in reference to an armed robbery. Police were told the suspect had been armed with a box cutter and had left the scene in a white Ford F-150. Officers arrived in less than a minute after being dispatched.
Two minutes later, responding officers observed a vehicle matching the description given, sitting in the parking lot of Walgreens at 5301 Ringgold Road. Officers detained the driver, who was identified as Jeremy Keel, 30, of Rossville. The suspect was positively identified by the store clerk.
Keel was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he was charged with aggravated robbery. He is scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m.
