Chattanooga Arboretum And Nature Center Hosts Sandhill Crane Event

The Chattanooga Arboretum and Nature Center will host a Sandhill Crane event on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 2-4 p.m.

The event will feature guest speaker, Dr. David Aborn, UTC professor of Ornithology, who will present an overview of Sandhill Crane biology, and then a close-up visit with the two resident Sandhill Cranes in the Wildlife Wanderland.

The program is geared toward adults and children 12, and older.

Here is the fishing report from the TWRA: Caney Fork: Fishing is good. Several trout are being caught in period of no flow, while fishing with flies.  Some nice browns have been caught near Carthage while using spoons and spinners. Center Hill: Fishing is good.
