Uptown Vision Of Chattanooga Hosts Grand Opening Jan. 22

Uptown Vision of Chattanooga will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The business is at 629 Market St., Suite 115 (Miller Brothers Building). The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event.

Uptown Vision of Chattanooga is a vision center and performs comprehensive vision and medical eye care services.  Serving downtown Chattanooga since 2001, Uptown Vision’s new 4,700 square foot facility features the latest in eye care technologies, has over 1,000 frames on display and fits all types of contact lenses.

Hours of operation are from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday.

Jury Awards 25 City Police Personnel Total Of $562,000 On Claims That Pay Plan Was Not Followed

A Chancery Court jury on Wednesday gave a verdict totaling $562,000 for 25 city police personnel who filed suit almost five years ago alleging that the city never lived up to terms of a 2010 pay plan.
