Chattanooga Friends will host its third annual Flashback Prom on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Participants will dance to music from the 80s to today and there will be a prom king and queen crowned, who will receive prizes.
The DoubleTree Hotel, at 407 Chestnut St. downtown, will provide late night munchies and offer a cash bar. Proceeds will benefit the Speech & Hearing Center’s Achieve Learning Center.
Tickets are $25 per person or $40 for a couple in advance, and $30 per person at the door. Advance tickets are available at http://flashbackpromchatt.eventbrite.com/. Flashback Prom has sold out in the past.
Chattanooga Friends is a group that provides Chattanoogans opportunities to meet new people, make new friends, and become involved in the community while making a difference in the lives of children and families in the greater Chattanooga area.
The Achieve Learning Center is a Tennessee Department of Education accredited preschool and kindergarten program for children ages 18 months to six years. An inclusive language-based program, the school serves children with hearing or speech/language impairments, as well as children without impairments. The goal of the Achieve Learning Center is to have every student, regardless of impairment, performing at or above age level in the areas of speech and language skills when they leave the program.
