Retired At The Age Of 90 From Volunteer Grandparents At Erlanger Hospital

Lucille Sharpe, 98, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in a local hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sharpe worked for years at Cobble Muse Hosiery Mill and retired at the age of 90 from Volunteer Grandparents. Most of these times were helping with the kids at Erlanger Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noal Sharpe, daughter, Orene Sharpe Ross, son, Lendal Sharpe, a special nephew, Scotty Ross, a sister and five brothers.

She is survived by one son, Wendell Sharpe and wife Peggy, granddaughters, Shelly Sharpe, Linda Ross, and Jill Ross, grandsons, Phil Ross, David Sharpe and Bruce Sharpe, twelve great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
