Virginia McClain, 90, of Powder Springs, Georgia, died on Wednesday, January 16 2013 in Marietta, Georgia. 

A native of Chattanooga, she had lived in Georgia most of her adult life. She was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from Nabisco after 38 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Lewis Sr. and Edna Mae Goodson Lewis; a brother, William H. (Dub) Lewis, Jr. and a sister, Bettie Goodlett.

Survivors include her daughters, Sasa Bond-Williams (John L. Williams) of Marietta, GA and Denise Smith (Chris Smith) of Smyrna, GA; a sister, Louise Twyman of Lake Wales, FL and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the North Chapel. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the North Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
