TWRA Requests Public Input For 2013-14 Hunting Regulations

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is soliciting comments for its 2013-14 hunting seasons’ regulations. This is an opportunity for the public to provide ideas and share concerns about hunting regulations with TWRA staff.

Public comments will be considered by TWRA’s Wildlife Division staff and may be presented as proposals for regulation changes. Comments may be submitted by mail to: 2013-14 Hunting Season Comments, TWRA, Wildlife and Forestry Division, P.O. Box 40747, Nashville, TN 37204 or emailed to  Please include “Hunting Season Comments” on the subject line of emailed submissions. 

The comment period concerning the 2013-14 hunting season regulations begins on Jan. 15, and will be open until Monday, Feb. 25.

2016-17 Sport Fish Regulations Tot Be Set At October Commission Meeting In Chattanooga

Man, 25, Shot While Riding In Car In Brainerd On Friday Night

A 25-year-old man was shot while riding in a car in Brainerd on Friday night. Police said Anthony Amey had non-life threatening injuries. Woman Stabbed To Death On Hooker Road; Man Injured; Suspect Being Interviewed

A young woman was stabbed to death on Hooker Road early Friday morning and a man was injured. At approximately 1:54 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at the 4000 block of Hooker Road.
