LaKisha Hambrick, 36, died on December 24, 2012 after a brief illness at a local hospital.

She is survived by her children, Toneshia, Erick, Ebony , Jerry, Aisha; fathers, Buster Smith and George Buckner; grandson, Caden; long-time companion, AleJandro Cooper; sisters, Valencia Hambrick, Candace Gray and LaTisha Turner; brother, Daniel Turner;  aunt, Robin Williams; uncle, Daryl Hambrick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Services will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 4, in the chapel with Reverend Marva A. Lee officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Jan. 3, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
