Red Bank Police Officer Suspended After Crashing Patrol Car While Off Duty

A Red Bank police officer has been suspended without pay after wrecking a patrol car while off duty.

The suspension was handed to Officer Rachel Corn, 30, related to an incident around 1 a.m. Christmas Eve.

She ran her vehicle into a ditch, then it hit a brick column.

Authorities said they found no evidence of alcohol or drug use. However, a blood-alcohol test was taken. Results are not yet back.

Authorities said officers in Red Bank are not supposed to be driving their police cruisers while off duty.
