Glen Raynell Carroll, 76, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday January 19, 2013 at his home with his family by his side.
He was an avid Coon Hunter and was a well known carpenter for many years.
He was the son of the late Rufus Elmer Carroll and Sarah Carroll Beavers; and was also preceded in death by two sons, Wendell Glen Carroll and infant son Dale Carroll; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Gibson Carroll; two sons and wives, Ray and Elizabeth Carroll and Mike and LaQuita Carroll all of Cleveland; one daughter, Patricia Turner of Atlanta; three grandsons, Ray Turner, Paul Turner of Atlanta and Richie Carroll of Cleveland; one very special granddaughter, Hannah Carroll; one great-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22 at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Dean Myers and Rev. Doyle McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in the Chilcutt Cemetery.
