William F. Farmer, 71, of Longboat Key, Florida, died on January 18, 2013.

Born in Chattanooga, he graduated from Clearwater High School, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He flew internationally for Delta Air Lines for 35 years. He was a member of the Longboat Key Club since 1996.

Mr. Farmer is survived by his wife, Sharon; his brother, Ben; his four children, Chad, Cindy, Cara and Darrin; and his three grandchildren Lizze, Elle, and Cayden. 

A memorial service will be announced in the spring. 

Memorial donations can be given to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.

Sandra Marie Rymer Holder, 54, died on January 19, 2015. She was a resident of the Chattanooga area most of her life. She enjoyed flea markets, yards sales, decorating her house, spending time with her grandchildren, and was of the Christian faith. The Chattanooga Times Free Press told employees on Monday that the newspaper had improved financial performance over the prior year quarters and employees were receiving two percent bonuses.
