Delores Jean Baggett, 77, a lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy, died on Monday, January 21, 2013.

Jean retired from Dupont after 31 years of services. She was a devoted member and prayer warrior of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle and attended Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Edith Hall, Sr. and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Bruce) Whelton; son, David (Blanca) Crowe; brothers, Ken (Patty) Hall and Robbie (Rosa) Hall; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Stancil officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home.
