Longtime Rossville Resident Worked For Catoosa County School System

Cora Lee Roberts, 82, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home.

She was a resident of Rossville since 1970 and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was a former employee of the Catoosa County School System and she enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Roberts, son, Frankie Roberts, and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Tony (Marilyn) Roberts, Steve Roberts, Polly (Tim) Carter and Diane Martin, sister, Jane (Wayne) York, brother, Jim Savage and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 11:30 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friend on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 3-8 p.m., and Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
