Kendal Ray "Kenny" Hawkins, 63, of Flat Top Mountain, died on Monday, January 21, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

Kenny retired from TVA after 25 years of service. He was a retired member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 43, a member of Soddy Lodge #418 F&AM, 32° Scottish Rite and Alhambra Shrine. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan, and car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Melisa Hawkins; daughter, Cristy H. (Charles) Milsaps; grandchildren, Shelby and Sydney Milsaps; parents, Fred G. and Martha Jean Hawkins; brother, Danny (Dawn) Hawkins; sister, Sheila (Steve) Roberts and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy.
